
Parise J. Rotondo, 91, husband of the late Delores (Kaminski) Rotondo, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions in Rocky Hill.
He was born May 29, 1924 in Simsbury son of the late Domenic and Armida (Coppola) Rotondo and had lived in the Avon -Simsbury area for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II having served honorably in the South Pacific with the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon being discharged Mr. Rotondo took some time to see part of the U. S. working his way across the Midwest and then settling back in Simsbury working for the U. S. Post Office and attending The Hartford School of Accounting. Parise was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed going to Fenway.
He is survived by his son, Robin Rotondo of Rocky Hill; his daughter, Carol Richey of Scottsdale, Arizona; a grandson, Christopher Richey of Scottsdale, Arizona; his sister, Laura R. Bisson of Avon and his loving sister-in-law, Michelle Rotondo of Canton along with many nieces and nephews in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Washington State as well as relatives in Italy and Canada. He was predeceased by his brother, Amos Rotondo and a granddaughter, Jasmine Elizabeth.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Brookdale for the excellent care afforded Mr. Rotondo where he made his home for the past two years.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be Friday, September 25, 11:00 a.m. at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Tariffville.
