SIMSBURY, CT — One of a municipality's biggest responsibilities is to make sure the town's roads are well maintained and safe, among other jobs in town.

Saturday, the Town of Simsbury is hosting an open house that will give folks a sneak peak into how the Simsbury Department of Public Works does its job.

The open house will take place at DPW headquarters at 66 Town Forest Road, West Simsbury, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is free and is rain or shine.
