Simsbury Photography Club Taking Back-To-School Photos

The Simsbury Camera Club will be at the Simsbury Public Library on Hopmeadow Street on Monday.

SIMSBURY, CT — The local camera club is hosting a special event at the Simsbury Public Library on Monday, one that could result in the preservation of families' back-to-school memories.

The Simsbury Camera Club will be at the Simsbury Public Library on Monday, Aug. 26, for "Back-to-School Photos."

Club photographers will be taking pictures of children, all decked out in their back-to-school gear, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. The library is at 725 Hopmeadow St.

While the photos are free, the club is accepting donations.

The event is for children in grades pre-K through sixth-grade and all children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Simsbury pupils return to the classrooms on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
