Simsbury Police Investigating Tire and Rim Thefts
Two vehicles were found on blocks during the overnight hours Tuesday into Wednesday, according to police.

SIMSBURY, CT — Police are investigating a pair of thefts of vehicle tires and rims that took place Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
One theft occurred on Hopmeadow Street, and one at Hoskins Crossing. In both cases, the vehicles were left on blocks, police said.
In a message to its residents, police said, "We suggest parking in well lit areas or areas that have lights with motion sensors. Call the police if you hear or see anything suspicious. Some car alarms may activate if someone tries to steal tires/rims."
