John M. Hutchinson, 54, of 100 Casterbridge, Simsbury, was charged with evading responsibility of injury and property damage and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at 4:45 p.m. He was arrested on $2,500 bond and will appear in court Aug. 17.

Hayden Forleo, 18, 25 Watson Drive, Simsbury, was charged with speeding (going greater than 60 mph on a road) at 1:01 a.m. He will appear in court Aug. 17.
