Simsbury Public Library Art Exhibits
The Friends of the Simsbury Public Library sponsor a monthly art exhibit open to the public.
This January visit the Simsbury Public Library to enjoy art exhibits throughout the month. There are exhibits, artist demos, and receptions throughout the library.
• In the library’s Program Room, paintings in mixed media by artists of Inspire Arts are featured with a reception on Tuesday, Jan. 7th at 5:30-7:00 pm.
• In the West Gallery Hallway, the water landscapes of Doug Fortin are displayed. Dan will provide a Live Demo on Jan. 12th, 1:30-3:30. Also there will be a reception on Weds., Jan. 15th from 6:00-8:00pm.
• Handcrafted sterling silver jewelry by Sue Nooney will be featured in the Library Display Cabinets during this month. Additionally Inspired Arts artists will display woodcrafts, jewelry, sculpture and fine art in the library cases.
The monthly art exhibits, demonstrations, and receptions are sponsored by the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library. FSPL Art Coordinator, Barbara Butterworth is the administrator of the monthly library programs featuring local artists.
