Simsbury Public Library’s End-of-Summer Party with Sea Tea Improv @ the Maple Tree

The great improv company, Sea Tea, entertains you with literary comedy improv based on audience suggestions. Be prepared to laugh!

On Thursday, August 10, the Simsbury Public Library invites you to an end-of-summer celebration at the Maple Tree Café, 781 Hopmeadow St. in Simsbury with Sea Tea Improv. This will be a night of fully improvised comedy based on audience suggestions and stories. Sea Tea's performers are readers, book lovers, literati, comedians, and so much more. They will transform your stories and ideas into entertainment. Sea Tea Improv was started in 2009, growing from one team of 7 to an entire theater company, including a touring company comprised of more than 20 members. They travel near and far to improvise for friends old and new. Audience stories and suggestions are woven into thoughtful characters, fast paced game moves, and always a touch of the unexpected.

Come have a blast! There will be light snacks provided. Doors open at 7:00 and Sea Tea's performance will begin around 7:30 pm.

You must be 21 or older to attend. Seating is limited, so you must reserve a seat at 860-658-7663 or www.simsburylibrary.info. Free.
