Simsbury To Raise Pride Flag To Honor LGBTQ+ Community

SIMSBURY, CT — The Town of Simsbury Thursday is celebrating the local LGBTQ community by hosting a Pride flag-raising ceremony late in the afternoon.

The special event, which kicks off Pride Month, is at 5 p.m. at Simsbury Town Hall, 933 Hopmeadow St.

There local leaders will be "recognizing all LGBTQ+ members of our community whose influence, advocacy and contributions to our neighborhoods make the Town of Simsbury a vibrant community in which to live, work and play."
