Simsbury Rec Seeks Summer Job Applicants

SIMSBURY, CT — The calendar may say "January," but the calendar at the Simsbury Culture, Parks and Recreation Department says its time to start hiring for the summer.

That's why rec officials are asking those interested in working for the department during the summer to apply now.

The town recently opened up applications and those interested have until March 31 to apply.

If hired, summer employees will work at the golf course, swimming areas and summer camps.

Among the positions looking to be filled are lifeguards, camp counselors and parks/golf course maintenance jobs.
