Simsbury Resident Named to CT Women's Hall of Fame Board

She and five others were recently appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Six of Connecticut’s outstanding female leaders have been appointed to the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame (CWHF) Board, including Meryl Mallery of West Simsbury, who was named a Trustee.

Mallery is the Vice President of Engineering at Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Co., and has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. She has published several papers in the aerospace field, and was a finalist for the Petit Foundation “Women in Science Leadership Award.” She is passionate about supporting S.T.E.M. education and is an active member of the Science Center of Connecticut’s Board of Trustees.

Joining Mallery on the Board of Trustees are Lori Budnick, Dr. Sandra Inga, Joaquina Borges King and Roberta “Bert” Wachtelhausen.
