Simsbury Resident to Present Program on Brain Health as We Age Presented by Duncaster
Simsbury resident Sheila Murphy will present a free pubic program on brain health on Mar. 24

A free public program about brain health as we age will be held on Thursday, Mar. 24 at 3:00 pm. The presentation is part of Duncaster’s monthly series called “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging.” The presentation will be held at Duncaster, 40 Loeffler Road. It is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
Leading the discussion will be Simsbury resident Sheila Murphy, Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for Hartford Hospital Senior Primary Care at Duncaster. The program will look at the natural changes that occur in the brain over a lifetime. Murphy will offer tips on how to minimize the impact these changes have on our lives. She will talk about positive steps for taking control of our brain health at any age through nutrition, exercise, meditation and other strategies.
