Simsbury Road Finally Reopens After Crash: Update
The accident resulted in some utility wires coming down, according to the Simsbury Police Department.

SIMSBURY, CT — A vehicle accident in town Wednesday took down utility wires and closed a road for much of the, according to the Simsbury Police Department Wednesday afternoon.
But by Thursday morning, Simsbury police said Nod Road was finally reopened and normal traffic patterns resumed, according to a SPD Twitter post at 5:58 a.m. Thursday.
According to the SPD, Nod Road was closed following a crash that also brought down some utility wires.

Local police posted the announcement at 1:05 p.m., saying Nod Road is closed from its intersection with Route 185 to 140 Nod Road, which is just north of the Avon town line.
At 4:26 p.m., Simsbury police reported the road was still closed and access to 140 Nod Road was via Route 44 in Avon.
