SIMSBURY, CT — Town officials are reminding residents to be ready for possible delays on local roads as the public works department this week announced that 10 miles of roads will be repaved.
According to the Town of Simsbury's public works department, the following roads will get much-needed new pavement during this year's construction season.
They are: Cardinal Road; Eagle Lane; Fleetwood Drive; Flintlock Ridge; Gretel Lane; Hawks Lane; Holcomb Street (Town line to Old Farms); Kilbourne Road; Lark Road; Metacom Drive; Musket Trail; Orchard Lane; Overlook Terrace; Ox Yoke Drive; Park Road; Powder Horn Drive; Rosewood Drive; Sagamore Drive; Squadron Line Road; Surry Circle; Vining Drive; Weatherly Road; West Mountain (309-past Quorn Hunt); Westledge Road; Woodland Place; and Woodland Street.
"Adjustments to this schedule may be required, depending on weather and other factors influencing our paving work, including, but not limited to, materials pricing increases," wrote Simsbury DPW officials via social media.
