Simsbury Runners Fare Well in Stratton Brook Invitational

SIMSBURY, CT — On a perfect day for running, a number of cross country athletes from the north-central Connecticut region turned in impressive performances in the 36th annual Stratton Brook Invitational Saturday in Simsbury.

Maeve Daily of the host school was the top Simsbury finisher, placing second in the girls varsity large school race. In the boys large school varsity event, Solomon Davis was third, followed by Michael Kokines (7th) and Matthew Gutierrez (9th).
