Simsbury Schools Alter Friday's Schedule
A wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain is developing, and a weather advisory has been issued for much of Connecticut.
SIMSBURY, CT — An expected wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain has caused school officials in Simsbury to dismiss students early on Friday, Dec. 22. Dismissal times are:
- Simsbury High School - 11:15 a.m.
- Henry James Memorial School - 11:15 a.m.
- Central Elementary - noon
- Latimer Lane Elementary - noon
- Tariffville Elementary - noon
- Tootin' Hills Elementary - noon
- Squadron Line Elementary - 12:30 p.m.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for much of Connecticut, including Hartford County, from 11 a.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday.
