Simsbury Seeking Local Artists

State Rep. Linda Schofield and a consortium of town organizations, including the Main Street Partnership, the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, Simsbury Open Studios, Farmington Valley Visitors’ Association, and Martocchio Music are planning an ArtWalk for next May 19. The event will be a benefit for the Simsbury A Better Chance program.

Several local painters and musicians have been lined up to display, perform, and demonstrate their arts that day in a variety of venues along Hopmeadow St. in the center of town. 

The organizing committee is seeking additional local artists from the Farmington Valley area to also participate. They are looking for sculptors, wood carvers, fine potters, fiber artists, art jewelers, glass artists and artistic craft makers.
