The Chieftains meanwhile walloped South Windsor 49-7. It will be a 7 p.m. kick-off tonight at as the Trojans play host to Conard.

While many people will be in the stands for football, just across the parking lot in the the Simsbury High gymnasium, the volleyball team looks to stay perfect as they host Hartford Public, for a 5:30 p.m. start. The Trojans are 4-0 after wins against Hall on Monday (3-0) and New Britain on Wednesday (3-1.) The game they lost to New Britain was the first Simsbury has lost all year.

In other sports, both Simsbury varsity soccer teams battle New Britain at 3:45 p.m. The boys are at home, while the girls are on the road.
