Simsbury Swimmer Wins Two Events at Class L Championships
Trojans place in the top eight in a half dozen events in the class championship meet at Wesleyan University.

MIDDLETOWN, CT - James Huang had an impressive showing at the Class L boys swimming championships Wednesday, capturing two individual titles at Wesleyan University.
The junior placed first in the 200 individual medley, in a time of 1:53.57 that was more than four seconds faster than the runnerup. He then won the 100 butterfly in 50.54 seconds.
Sean Russell also swam well for the Trojans, taking fifth in the 100 freestyle and sixth in the 50 freestyle.
The 400 freestyle relay team of Russell, Daniel Greenberg, Graham Clarkson and Huang finished seventh, while the 200 freestyle relay quartet of Russell, James Salina, Corben Braun and Huang was eighth.
Simsbury placed 11th in team competition.
