Simsbury Tax Bills To Go Out This Week
First payments are due July 1, with a grace period through Aug. 3.

SIMSBURY, CT — The Simsbury Office of the Collector of Revenue announced that Grand List 2025 tax bills for fiscal year 2026-27 are expected to be sent out this week.
According to the office, tax payments will be due on different schedules depending on the type of property.
Real estate taxes will be payable in two installments, with the first due July 1, 2026, and the second due Jan. 1, 2027.

Real estate tax bills totaling less than $100 will be due in a single payment on July 1, 2026.
Motor vehicle taxes and personal property taxes will both be due July 1, 2026.

The collector’s office said payments due July 1 will be considered on time if they are received by the town or bear a U.S. Postal Service postmark dated no later than Aug. 3, 2026.
Residents who have not yet received their tax bills are advised to watch for them in the mail this week and plan accordingly for the upcoming payment deadlines.
