Simsbury Town, School Facilities Closed for MLK On Monday
Operations resume to normal on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

SIMSBURY, CT — Like most towns, Simsbury will have several impacts due to the upcoming holiday on Monday.
Local officials said Thursday the following locations will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16 in, observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day:

- Simsbury Town Hall - 933 Hopmeadow St.
- Eno Memorial Hall - 754 Hopmeadow St.
- Simsbury Public Library - 725 Hopmeadow St.
The Simsbury Farms Ice Rink (100 Old Farms Road) will be open for public skating from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., but the administrative offices will be closed.
Residential trash hauling from Paine’s and All Waste will operate on a regular schedule.

Simsbury public schools have an early dismissal day Friday, Jan. 13, and the day off for the Jan. 16 holiday.
Classes and all normal town operations will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
