Thanksgiving Openings, Closings In Simsbury, What You Need To Know
The Town of Simsbury's municipal offices and schools are in full holiday weekend mode this week.
SIMSBURY, CT — Local officials this week have released detailed information on how the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend will impact town and school services.
According to the Town of Simsbury, several locations will be closed both Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25.

• Simsbury Town Hall - 933 Hopmeadow St.
• Eno Memorial Hall (Simsbury Senior Center) - 754 Hopmeadow St.

• Simsbury Public Library - 725 Hopmeadow St. (closing 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23)
• Simsbury Farms Recreational Complex – 100 Old Farms Road
Meanwhile, the town announced that residential trash hauling will operate on a modified schedule.
For Paine’s customers, a ll Monday through Wednesday pick-ups will be performed on schedule. All Thursday and Friday pick-ups will be one day late.
For All Waste customers, routes will be running normal on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Routes will not run on Thursday and routes will run one day behind on Friday and Saturday.
As for the Simsbury schools, there will be early dismissal on Wednesday, with Thursday and Friday being days off, as is usually the case.
