Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company Cold Water/Ice Rescue Drill

Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company members practiced rescues at Town Forest Park.

The Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company conducted a cold water/ice rescue drill at Town Forest Park to practice for rescues on the Farmington River and the town’s lakes and streams. The department has cold water rescue suits to use with rescue buoys and a rescue sled.
