Engineers Rick Callahan, Firetown station and Mark Zenick, Main station; Firefighter Susan Colman, Main station, and Steven Petrella, Main station; and Public Information Officer Kitty Vangunten, have received the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company's President's Award for their service on the fundraising committee.
The award, established in 1988, was presented by the fire company President Joseph Barrett. The President’s Award is given annually to a firefighter or firefighters for outstanding service.
