WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford Police have identified Kelly Gregory, 33, of Simsbury, as the woman killed in Tuesday's crash that shut down Avon Mountain Road on both sides in Avon and West Hartford for several hours on Wednesday afternoon.There were no further details available at this time, West Hartford Lt. Ted Stoneburner said.The crash occurred around 3 p.m. on Wednesday and the road was closed for about six hours.Gregory was traveling east on Route 44 when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an SUV that was going westbound, according to reports.<a href="http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Serious-Crash-Closes-Avon-Mountain-378151021.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">NBC Connecticut reports</a> the male driver of the SUV was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.
