Simsbury's Environmental Future: Dystopia or Utopia?
The Simsbury Sustainability Committee is asking for public input this month regarding its sustainability plan.

SIMSBURY, CT — Will bucolic Simsbury evolve into an environmental utopia where greenhouse gas emissions don't even register and Mother Nature smiles from above?
Or will it descend into a dystopian hellscape of excess amounts of burning fossil fuel-fed pollution and dirty air and water?
The Simsbury Sustainability Commission has a plan for the town's future and it is seeking folks' input regarding it.

It is hoped that Simsbury could meet state goals of cutting greenhouse gas emissions to 45 percent below 2001 levels by 2030, with zero carbon electricity by 2040.
To that end, Simsbury's sustainability organization is asking people to read up on the town's plan toward that end and comment back.
