Simsbury resident Kevin Cunningham has been named the event chairman of the “Simple Things Make a Difference Gala,” a benefit to support My Sister’s Place. Cunningham is Connecticut president for Bank of America.
My Sister’s Place is an organization committed to ending homelessness and empowering women, families and others in Greater Hartford by providing housing and other support services. The gala will be held March 14 at the Marriott Hartford.
The celebration features dinner, dancing to the music of The Groove Junkies and fabulous live and silent auctions. The organization’s goal this year is to raise more than $200,000 at the annual gala to support its programs.
