Simsbury’s Tower 12 is being inspected and serviced behind Main Station so it is ready for annual testing to insure it meets national standards for safety. Power washing, inspecting, cleaning, lubricating and adjusting, all as needed, are done before the testing. The average service life of the ladder is 25 years. The vehicle is a 2007 KME 100’ mid-mount tower ladder.
