Skip the Ubiquitous Paint Night & Really Learn to Draw
The Storyteller's Cottage Launches New Art Classes in January

There are two new art classes coming to the Storyteller’s Cottage in January: Friday Night Art Sampler and Art in Depth, both taught by artist Robin Towle-Fecso. This month, the two Friday Night Art Samplers will focus on Drawing the Face and Drawing a Cartoon Face, and the Art in Depth class will focus on Still Life drawing and Chibi Art.
Friday Night Art Sampler: Those looking for something unique to do with their friends on a Friday night can skip the ubiquitous paint night and learn to actually draw. The Friday Night Art Samplers offer a fun way to combine a night out with an uncommon and valuable new experience. Each session, held in the immersive “secret” castle room at the Storyteller’s Cottage, is just one hour and will focus on a different specific type of illustration. Each session is held from 7:00-8:00 pm and costs $25.

Art in Depth: Stories can be told in a myriad of different ways, and one of the most beloved of these is visual storytelling, a craft many attempt and would love to master. Students can learn from a professional how to improve and polish their drawing skills in this focused two-hour class. (Suitable for ages 10 - adult). Each session is held from 1:00-3:00 pm and costs $45.
