Spring Break State Capitol Tours for Simsbury Residents

State Representative John K. Hampton is welcoming Simsbury residents to the State Capitol for special tours this Saturday, April 18, 2015.

“Whether or not you are on spring break this week, please join me for behind-the-scenes tours of the State Capitol,” said Rep. Hampton. “A day trip to our beautiful State Capitol Building and Legislative Office Building is a fun and unique way for families to enjoy their spring vacation.”

The tours will kick off at 11:00 a.m. and last until 2:00 p.m. It will feature stops at the House Chamber, Senate Chamber and Legislative Office Building.

“I want to remind everyone that this is “the people house” and its doors are always open to them. It is a magnificent historic building and I look forward to showing folks around the halls of their state government. This will also be a great opportunity for me to hear directly from constituents regarding issues of concern,” added Rep. Hampton.
