'Swing' Over To Simsbury For Special Concert Event

SIMSBURY, CT — With a positive weather forecast in the works for this weekend, locals are being asked to "swing" on over to the Simsbury Farms Golf Course on Saturday, July 27.

But by "swing," we're not talking golf clubs. We're talking music.

"The Swing Syndicate," an area band specializing in jazz will be performing under a tent at the site, located at 100 Old Farms Road, Simsbury.

The free concert — part of the "Music at the Farms" series — is being hosted by the Simsbury Culture, Parks and Recreation Department and it will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Guests are asked to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the music. There is limited patio seating available.

Meanwhile, The Hilltop Grille will have food and drinks for sale, with outside food or drinks not permitted.
