The Simsbury Public Library and Simsbury Camera Club are co-sponsoring the first Teen Photo Challenge. Photographers 12-19 years of age are welcome to participate, regardless of residency or experience level. Participants may submit one entry in each of this year’s categories: People, Animals, and Open. Digital enhancements may be used in any category.
“We are excited to offer this Challenge to teen photographers and to give them a chance to share their art with the community. Our mission is to celebrate images of young photographers and award the most amazing visions captured,” said Sara Ray, Teen Services Librarian.
Drop off your 8x10 print during library hours April 1-20 at the Information Services desk. If your photo wins, your work will be on display at the library during the month of May. Prizes include Amazon gift cards, award certificates, and ribbons. For more information, entry rules and release forms, visit: simsburylibrary.info/teen
