Most clients who come to us do so because they want to hold an event unique to them — a party that reflects who they are. This is particularly true in the case of weddings.
It is nearly impossible to have a wedding reception at one of the infamous “wedding factories,” which you can truly call your own ... an event that, like you, is unlike any other. This is not to say that the party will be more glamorous or even more costly — just unique.
Eclectic is in.

The term “off-premise” catering refers to caterers who work not in one location only, but like gypsies, make themselves at home in other kitchens.
I think this is why our job is still interesting and challenging after so many years. Each party is made from scratch.

Start with an ebullient couple. Add a special location. Maybe a big white tent is in order — or a dance floor. Fill in the space with tables, chairs, linens in favorite colors, china, glassware and fresh flowers to tie it all together. It could reflect classic elegance. It could convey casual chic, or be playfully pastoral. Minimalistic, in shades of white and sage or creatively chaotic with vibrant colors, the options are limitless. Doesn’t this sound like fun?
Choose wines and a special cocktail. Then last, but definitely not least … savor the menu planning. A seamless sit down. A conversational cocktail party. An abundant buffet. Or the “in-betweener” — the station party. Each menu represents a different degree of formality and style.
Off-premise party planning is not for the faint of heart. Don’t get the wrong impression. There are many details to nail down — some artistic and some more mundane. But as the old adage says: Effort = Results. So if you’re that style of person and you have a good caterer/event planner on board, the journey will be as rewarding as reaching the destination.
