At times quirky, whimsical, sweet, and bittersweet, this heartwarming play showcases the residents of the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine: ordinary, hardworking people who are impacted by love in a variety of ways on a cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter. With the otherworldly northern lights as a backdrop, hearts will be broken and mended and love will be lost and found.
The Theatre Guild of Simsbury’s production of Almost, Maine closes this weekend, running Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Eno Memorial Hall in Simsbury (754 Hopmeadow St.). Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door. General admission price is $20 and preferred seating is $25.
