Threatening Call Received from Simsbury Apartment Complex
Police are calling the event a "swatting" incident.

SIMSBURY, CT — The Simsbury Police Department is investigating a “swatting” incident that occurred Thursday at the Willow Arms Apartments at 55 Elm Street in Tariffville, Capt. Nicholas Boulter said in a written statement.
An anonymous person called the police department and made a threat to harm a relative and the police. Officers secured the area very quickly and began communication with school and town officials, Boulter said.
For the safety of nearby schoolchildren and staff, Tariffville School was placed on lockout. School officials made notifications to parents and safe arrangements for children to leave the school, Boulter said.
