Storm Henri has made landfall in Connecticut as a Tropical Storm, with rainfall and winds expected to increase throughout the day.  Wind gusts in our area are expected to be 40-60 miles per hour. 

The Department of Public Works has activated its crews and is working to clear catch basins around town.  The emergency management team continues to monitor the weather conditions and will provide updates as the storm progresses.

If you need to be on the roads, please use caution if you encounter an intersection that has lost power to the traffic control signals.  Treat the intersection as if there is a stop sign at each entry point to the intersection; do not assume that the other vehicles will stop.
