Traffic Around Simsbury Library Subject to Detours on Tuesday

SIMSBURY, CT — The Eaglewood Drive access to the Simsbury Public Library will be closed to traffic on Tuesday as a fire hydrant is being relocated, police said.

This work is the initial phase of construction activities associated with the Simsbury Veterans Memorial project that will require periodic closures of Eaglewood Road, police said.

This initial roadway closure is anticipated to last at least through Tuesday and maybe even Wednesday, police said.

Access to the Simsbury Public Library will be available at the Library Lane entrance during the roadway closures, police said.

Detour signs will be posted along the detour route, police said. Click here for a map of the detour.
