Unique Writing Class for Kids Starts at Storyteller's Cottage
The Time Travelers Guild combines a mystery room game with creative writing in an inspirational space
TIME TRAVELER'S GUILD
This unique Creative Writing Workshop is open to kids in 5th - 8th grade. Join this mini creative writing club that meets in 3-week terms in search of great stories! Start by playing a themed mystery room (the Detective's Dinner Party) at Storyteller's Cottage. Then spend a session writing INSIDE that inspiring Victorian mystery room, immersed in its theme. Finally, in the third session, polish and share your story surrounded by your inspiration.
WHEN: Three Thursdays from 4:30 - 6:00pm, beginning Nov 30

WHO: Taught by Karin Lefranc, a local, award-winning, published author, editor and journalist whose most recent book features a zombie who eats books instead of brains.
WHY: Learn to capture your swirling ideas onto the page, and complete your 3-week course with a story that is ready for publication or submission to our list of writing contests, or just to share with friends and family!
