Video Surveillance Transcript from the Red Stone Pub

On August 30, 2021, I spoke with Marc's attorney, Attorney Ritson. I informed Attorney Ritson that I was looking to see if there was video surveillance from the Red Stone Pub from the night of the incident. Attorney Ritson stated he would speak with Marc. I received a call back from Attorney Ritson who stated there was video surveillance from the incident. I asked that he preserve a copy for me because I would be requesting that a search warrant be issued for me to obtain the footage. Attorney Ritson stated that a search warrant was not necessary and that they would provide me a copy of the surveillance footage on their own.

On August 31, 2021, I received a USB containing the surveillance footage. The footage covered the exterior of Red Stone Pub near the two entrance doors and some of the tent pavilion that was set up in the parking lot. I reviewed the footage and observed that on August 28, 2021 , at approximately 2134 hours, there was a small crowd of people outside of the Red Stone Pub near the entrances and the tent. At approximately 2135 hours, Marc is seen coming out of the front entrance door and is looking towards the parking lot. Marc opens another door to the pub and is seen calling out friends from the pub to assist him in the parking lot. Marc and his group are seen looking towards the parking lot and then Marc is seen yelling at someone who was not in view of the camera. I observed someone trying to calm Marc down by patting him on his shoulders. Marc is then seen quickly approaching someone in an aggressive manner in the parking lot. The interaction is just out of view of the camera. I observed a large wrestling match started to happen with several people including Marc and it spilled over into the area of the tent and front entrance to the pub. Marc is seen taking a few steps back from the group and retrieving a firearm from his pocket with his right hand. While standing directly outside of the entrance to the pub Marc fires a round from the firearm directly up. It appears the round struck something because debris is seen falling in front of the cameras. People start to scatter and two individuals approach Marc and start to talk to him. The footage ends. I placed the footage in an evidence bag and a copy of it was placed on the secured photo drive under this incident number.
