Votes Given to Simsbury in Latest Boys Hockey Poll
The Trojans are looking to gain some momentum and crack the top 10.

SIMSBURY, CT — Despite being one game under .500, the Simsbury High School boys ice hockey team still received some support from voters in the latest weekly poll of coaches and media members.
The Trojans (3-4) have dropped two of their last three contests, but seek to rebound Friday against Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks and Saturday against Farmington Valley.
Fairfield Prep (8-0) maintained its stronghold at the top of the rankings, garnering 15 of 16 first-place votes. Greenwich (5-0) also snagged first place on one ballot.

Here are the top 10, as well as all other programs receiving votes, with records through Jan. 10.

- Notre Dame-West Haven (4-2)
- Hamden (4-2)

- Notre Dame-Fairfield (5-1)

- Farmington Valley (6-1)
Also receiving votes: Darien (2-6), New Canaan (2-4), Watertown/Pomperaug (5-1-1), Guilford (5-1), Simsbury (3-4).
