SIMSBURY, CT — A broken water main in a busy section of Simsbury required the rerouting of traffic, according to the Simsbury Police Department.
But the state Department of Transportation, however, has declared the situation "cleared" as of about 10:30 a.m. and local police said "normal" traffic was now flowing in that area.
In a social media post at about 6 a.m., police said the situation had impacted traffic on West Street (Route 167) from Hopmeadow Street (Route 202) to Firetown Road.
