• CT student test scores tick up but remain below pre-COVID era (ctmirror.org) — Somers families will be glad to hear local students have actually surpassed their pre-COVID state test scores, which the superintendent links partly to limiting student screen time. Statewide, Connecticut scores in most grades ticked up slightly but still trail 2019 levels, with persistent gaps between wealthier and high-needs districts and among racial groups prompting renewed scrutiny of school funding.
