180-Unit Elderly Housing Complex Moves Forward In Southbury
Town officials have taken a major step in allowing the project to proceed.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A 180-unit elderly housing complex will be constructed at the former Southbury Training School property after the project received a key approval last week, the Republican-American reports.
The development will be on 45 acres of land. Pierce Hollow Village Inc. is the developer of the project and will seek federal funds to help construct the development.
Hundreds of people are on a waiting list for senior housing in Southbury.
