2022-23 Southbury Budget Referendum Set For Wednesday
Voters will be asked whether they approve of the town spending a total of $102,255,441 on municipal and education expenditures next year.

The following announcement is from the Town of Southbury:
General Information
- The Town of Southbury Budget and Pomperaug Regional School District #15 Budget Referendum
- Date: Wednesday, May 4, 2022
- Referendum hours: 6AM - 8PM
- Polling location: All voting will be held at the Firehouse at 461 Main Street South.
- Property owners who are not registered voters in Southbury may vote at the referendum providing they are U.S. Citizens, at least 18 years of age and own property valued at $1,000 or more recorded on the Southbury Grand List as of October 1, 2021.
- Election Day Voter Registration is not available for Referendum

- Annual Town Meeting will be held on May 2, 2022 to discuss the 2022-2023 proposed municipal budget.
- 2022-2023 Proposed Region 15 Budget
- Voters must provided identification to vote at the polling place. Acceptable forms of identification include: a driver’s license or other photo ID; U.S Passport; a pre-printed form of ID, like a tax bill or utility bill, pay stub or bank statement; Social Security card or other government document that shows your name and address; a document that shows your name and signature (i.e. a credit card).
