31st Annual Region 15 Art Show, Public Invited

The public is invited to see the students' brilliant works of art.

SOUTHBURY, CT - From Pomperaug Regional School District 15: The Annual Region 15 Art Show will be held on Friday, April 26th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm and on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in the Pomperaug High School (PHS) Gymnasium. The event, now in it’s 31st year, is free of charge and open to the public. Members of the community, students, and families are invited to attend.

“The Art Show exemplifies so much of the creativity that Region 15 has to offer!” said PHS student Terrance Dumoulin.

The event will feature works of art in various media from students in all grades and schools across Region 15. The PHS All Purpose room will also feature a digital art show enrichment work. “The Art Show is the best two days of the year. It’s always inspiring to see the different work from all of the grades and schools,” said Chloe Zilkha, a senior at PHS.

“We are looking forward to this event and the opportunity to showcase our students’ artistic diversity and their innovation and creativity. Thousands of student works will be on display and it is a wonderful opportunity for the students to share their work and for the community to become engaged in the artistic process,” said Jeromy Nelson, Director of Fine, Applied, and Technical Arts for Region 15.
