Pastor From Africa To Speak at Calvary Chapel

SOUTHBURY, CT – Calvary Chapel Southbury is pleased to announce that they will have a special guest speaker, Pastor Stanley Mateya from Malawi, Africa, this Sunday, July 5, at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Everyone in the community is welcome to come out for this event.

For the last decade, Calvary Chapel Southbury has been involved extensively in outreach to Malawi and Mozambique, two of the poorest countries in the world. The church provides food, clean drinking water and education to some of the most vulnerable members of society.

Recently, they have also provided emergency relief to refugees of the devastating flood that affected Malawi. Pastor Mateya helps oversee all of this work and has been an integral part of this endeavor from the start. He looks forward to being able to share stories of the transformation that God has accomplished in Malawi & Mozambique through this ongoing work.
