AIDS SURVIVOR TO SPEAK AT CALVARY CHAPEL

Calvary Chapel will have a guest speaker, Pastor Ephraim Disi from Malawi, Africa, this Thursday and Sunday.

SOUTHBURY, CT– Calvary Chapel Southbury is pleased to announce that they will have a special guest speaker, Pastor Ephraim Disi from Malawi, Africa, this Thursday, July 9 and Sunday, July 12, at their 7:00 PM services.

Pastor Disi is an HIV/AIDS survivor who was diagnosed 20 years ago. He is a pioneer of HIV/AIDS leadership training in developing nations and travels all over Africa (where infection rates are extremely high), and the world, sharing his story to raise awareness. Everyone in the community is welcome to come out for this event and to hear his amazing testimony.

For the last decade, Calvary Chapel Southbury has been involved extensively in outreach to Malawi and Mozambique, two of the poorest countries in the world. The church provides food, clean drinking water and education to some of the most vulnerable members of society, including orphaned children of HIV/AIDS victims.
