SOUTHBURY, CT — King of Que BBQ, a Southbury-based craft barbecue company known for its competition-level smoked meats, has announced the launch of its new Certified Smokehouse Partners program—an initiative designed to connect local culinary artisans with its signature slow-smoked proteins.

Leading the launch is a partnership with Addeo's Fire and Ice, where the collaboration is already gaining attention with the introduction of the King of Que BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza.

“The response has been incredible,” said owner Johnny Addeo. “The pulled pork brings a depth of flavor you just can’t replicate without true slow smoking. It’s quickly become one of the most talked-about items on our menu.”

The Certified Smokehouse Partners program invites chefs, caterers, food entrepreneurs, and specialty food producers to collaborate with King of Que BBQ by incorporating its smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and other proteins into their own original dishes.

“Our goal has always been bigger than just serving great barbecue,” said a representative from King of Que BBQ. “We want to build something that supports and elevates the local food community. This program gives talented culinary creators access to our smoked meats so they can focus on what they do best—creating amazing food.”

Through the program, partners gain access to premium, professionally smoked meats—eliminating the need for specialized equipment or overnight pit management while maintaining authentic, high-quality barbecue.

The collaboration with Addeo’s Fire and Ice is just the beginning, with additional partnerships already in development across the region.

“We’re seeing incredible creativity—from elevated comfort food to globally inspired dishes—all built around authentic, wood-smoked barbecue,” they added.

Local culinary professionals interested in becoming a Certified Smokehouse Partner can apply directly through the company’s website.
