SOUTHBURY, CT — Drivers on nearly 30 Southbury roads could encounter roadwork beginning next week as the town starts its latest round of pavement maintenance.
The Southbury Department of Public Works will begin chip sealing and fog sealing 28 roads during the week of Aug. 17, according to the town.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and use caution around work crews.
Residents will continue to have access to their homes, though the town said there may be limited interruptions during the work.
The schedule is subject to change depending on weather and contractor coordination.
