3 Arrested After Breaking Into IBM Facility In Southbury: Police

Officers responded to the Kettletown Road property after security reported several people had forced their way inside, police said.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Three people were arrested after police said they forced their way into the IBM facility on Kettletown Road over the weekend.

Southbury police responded to the property around 10:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, after IBM security reported that several people had forced their way into the building.

Officers found the suspects inside and arrested two adults and one juvenile, according to police.

Both adults were charged with third-degree criminal trespass and are scheduled to appear Sept. 11 in Waterbury Superior Court. The juvenile was referred to juvenile court, police said.

Police did not provide additional information about how the group entered the building or why they were there.
