February 11, 2011, Middlebury/Southbury, CT—On a cold February evening, Long Meadow Elementary School principal, Mr. Chris Moretti, crept out of his office wearing a red plaid night shirt to get ready for bed (because as we all know, teachers and principals never leave school). After brushing his teeth, hundreds of moms, dads, and children appeared, clutching a favorite stuffed animal or blanket and searching for “Froggy.”

The Southbury Women’s Club will present a Dillstar Production of “Joey & Maria’s Comedy Italian Wedding”, the smash-hit, original interactive dinner theater show, Saturday, March 26, at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m., followed by the newlyweds’ reception dinner and performance at 7 p.m. and Silent Auction winners announced at 10 p.m.
On Tuesday, February 22, The Watermark at East Hill will host “Creaks and Leaks,” a two-part presentation featuring Michelle Lyons and Meghan Pogodzienski, physical therapists at Access Rehab Centers-Southbury. The lecture is free of charge and open to the public, and will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the auditorium at the retirement community in Southbury.
Scott Robinson, general manager of the Heritage Hotel & Conference Center in Southbury, Connecticut, has announced that Southbury resident Jennifer Giuliano, the hotel’s director of catering, has been named February Leader of the Month.
